 Shipping

Unless otherwise requested all shipments will be made using U.S. Postal Service registered priority mail.
The following charges will apply:

$29.00 for insured shipments from $7,001 to $10,000
Shipments valued between $10,000 and $25,000 will carry insurance charges of $1.00 per thousand in addition to the above. Contact us for shipping and insurance charges on diamonds valued over $25,000 and/or expedited delivery.

 Appraisals

At your request we will provide you with our insurance appraisal evaluation at no charge.

 Insurance

We strongly urge you to arrange with your homeowners/renters insurance agent for a temporary insurance binder on your diamond (most companies do not charge for this short term service) while it is in your possession and responsibility during the inspection period.

Once the transaction is finalized, for permanent coverage the binder should be converted to a rider or personal articles floater added to your existing policy. This all risk coverage should be available to you for a relatively low charge, usually ranging from $12 to $17 per thousand of coverage, depending on the region of the country in which you live.

 Inspection Period

We allow you seven days from the date you receive your diamond to inspect it in the privacy and comfort of your own home, as well as the opportunity to have it inspected locally by a qualified, independent gemologist/appraiser of your choice.

Since your diamond will already have been verified by one of the leading independent gemological laboratories as being the gem specified on the original grading certificate, you can be completely confident that the diamond you receive is the diamond you ordered.

 Sales Tax

Our direct to consumer midwest sales subsidiary is located in the state of Michigan.
We are obligated to collect sales tax only on items shipped to customers in Michigan.
We are not obligated to collect sales tax on items shipped to any other state.

 Returns & Exchanges

Our return policy allows you a seven day inspection period from the time you receive your diamond.
Since the diamond has already been through the DDV© process, there is no question of its authenticity.

If, in the unlikely event you should not find the diamond to be satisfactory, you will notify us by e mail or fax of your intention to return or exchange. We will then provide you with an authorization number and detailed instructions for return shipping to the DDV© laboratory.

After the grading laboratory verifies that the diamond is in the same condition as when they shipped it to you, the independent escrow agent will be authorized to return your funds to you in the same manner as they were received, less the costs involved in the DDV© and shipping process. Or, if you prefer, we will arrange for a suitable exchange at your direction.

 Privacy Policy

Our privacy policy is simple and straightforward:
All the information you provide to us remains completely private.
We do NOT release or sell any of your information to anyone unless required by law to do so.
